Comin’ Through has returned to racing in good shape and remains an outright $3.90 favourite in 2017 Hobartville Stakes betting markets at Ladbrokes.com.au, ahead of Prized Icon ($4.80) and Man From Uncle ($5.50).

Will Comin’ Through return to winning form second-up in the Hobartville Stakes, or will one of his rivals claim upset success?

1st

Comin’ Through ($3.90)

Comin’ Through is arguably the class horse of the Hobartville Stakes field and will relish a step up in distance to 1400m in the Hobartville Stakes. Comin’ Through immediately stamped herself as one to watch during his debut campaign last spring and capped the preparation with a maiden black type win in the Group 3 Carbine Club Stakes (1400m) at Flemington on Derby Day. Sure to have taken plenty of benefit from his first-up run for fifth in the Group 3 Eskimo Prince Stakes (1200m), Comin’ Through is drawn ideally in barrier 4 and will be partnered by regular hoop Michael Walker in the Hobartville Stakes.

2nd

Man From Uncle ($5.50)

Man From Uncle flew home to win the Eskimo Prince Stakes first-up and arguably offers punters the best value for money at current Hobartville Stakes odds of $5.50, or $2.05 to finish in the first three. Steadily building to the task through three starts during the 2017 Spring Carnival, Man From Uncle capped the season a credible third in the Listed Hilton Stakes (1400m) on November 5th. Having clearly taken benefit from his time away from racing when he posted his first black type win in the Eskimo Prince Stakes, Man From Uncle is another horse who looks like he will benefit from a step up in distance on Saturday.

3rd

Bryneich ($10)

Godolphin contender Bryneich clearly required a run when he finished seventh in the Eskimo Prince Stakes, but he has drawn ideally into the Hobartville Stakes field in barrier 3 and will be partnered by in-form hoop Brenton Avdulla. Bryneich has the ability to mix it with this field and with some luck in transit, should hit the line well, if he is produced at the right time.
