Held as the sixth race of the day, the 2010 Hobartville Stakes will kick off just before 4pm, and the Rosehill Gardens Racecourse will come to a standstill to see which three-year-old will win.
With $200,000 in prize money up for grabs, it is not a surprise the odds are hotting up as punters are backing their favourite horse to win the Group 2 race, which sees a competitive line up.
Currently topping the odds is Manhattan Rain at $2.35. The Gai Waterhouse-trained colt has a good barrier start and is a strong runner over the middle distance.
Currently topping the odds is Manhattan Rain at $2.35.
Chasing his tail is More Than Great at $6, and due to the wide barrier draw, may have dropped in the odds. The colt came second in the Group 2 Royal Sovereign Stakes (1200m) earlier this year to another starter on Saturday; Shoot Out.
The John Wallace-trained gelding is at $6.50 and rounds out the odds for the top three coming into the 2010 Hobartville Stakes.
Kidnapped and Viking Legend are another two to watch at $9 and $11 respectively.
Closing the odds is Dragon’s Keep at $201. However after running well recently in a trial the gelding would certainly prove a worthy wage if he performed at his best on Saturday.
Also taking place at the Rosehill Gardens Racecourse on Saturday will be the Group 2 Silver Slipper Stakes (1100m) and the Group 3 Milie Fox Stakes (1300m).
