Coming up on the Australian horse racing calendar is the running of the 2010 Hobartville Stakes which will take place, as usual, at the beautiful Rosehill Gardens Racecourse on the 27th of February.
The 2010 Hobartville Stakes, spanning 1400m, will offer up $200,000 in prize money to the three-year-old horses entered. One of which could be the Queensland filly, Sweepstaking, whose last three starts have resulted in wins. The Gillian Heinrich-trained horse will use the Group 2 Light Fingers Stakes (1200m) to determine whether or not she will run in the 2010 Hobartville Stakes.
The 2010 Hobartville Stakes will offer up $200,000 in prize money.
Shoot Out is another possibility for the race having won the Group 2 Sires’ Produce Stakes (1400m), and will use the 2010 Hobartville Stakes as a path to the Group 1 AJC Derby (2400m) later in the season.
The Group 2 race will be raced alongside the Group 2 Silver Slipper Stakes (1100m) and the Group 3 Millie Fox Stakes (1300m).
The 2010 Hobartville Stakes is a good race to watch if interested in horse form for the Group 1 Randwick Guineas (1600m) held two weeks later at the Royal Randwick Racecourse.
